Merak has invested in new, powerful demagnetisation installations, which can handle all existing magnetic carriers.

The power of the magnetic field that these new installations process goes up to 2.0 Tesla (20,000 Oersted).

The demagnetisation installations that Merak deploys have been ratified by the NSA, the American National Security Agency, which closely monitors the removal of so-called classified top secret data.

Several other organisations have approved the demagnetisation installations.
