In 2019, Merak had good reason to celebrate ‘25 years of ISO certification’ for quality management, in addition to information security and environmental management.

The ISO 14001 certificate for environmental management is proof that Merak is doing everything possible to ensure the safety of the archives it holds, without compromising the environment.

Not only is the archive stored securely, it also avoids unnecessary printing.
What happens if a customer subsequently decides to destroy the paper archive?

Can a green policy be cost-effective?
Merak is also ecological in its internal business activities.
“In 2018, we produced 30% of our own electricity.
Electricity, which is 100% generated from green sources, namely our own solar panels.
What’s more, by the end of this year, more than a quarter of our fleet will be electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles."

In 2018, the Merak Group grew by more than 10% and increased its cash flow.

The storage areas for paper archives are protected against fire, theft, water and pests.
