Reliable and sustainable paper shredding

The shredding of your archive is always performed under the supervision of our in-house team. Our document destruction complies with the DIN 66399 standard (protection class II, safety level 3). So your archive is cut into blocks of 800mm ². This corresponds to an A4 sheet cut into 100 strips. This is the only way to ensure that no one misuses your confidential information. To ensure a sustainable practice, the shreds are pressed and 100% recycled after destruction.

Product specifications

You can call us for both one-off and regular destruction. It can be very useful to record destruction data based on the legal retention periods of your documents. This way you not only save space, but also time. After all, Merak has its own courier service, which can quickly pick up the documents to be destroyed.

How can you have your documents destroyed?

The document destruction service can be requested from Merak in several ways.

Destruction of archives stored at Merak:

Using ‘quick order’ you can, as an existing customer, tell us which records you want to have destroyed.
You can also make the application by phone or in writing. (by e-mail, or the contact page).

Destruction of documents not stored at Merak:

You can request a custom quote.
And, of course, you can also order online.

Merak is going for a 0% error tolerance.

Are you requesting the destruction of documents held by Merak? Then we'll send you a list of all the documents you want destroyed.
We ask you to carefully review this list and have it signed by a proxy.
If this is OK, the destruction command can start. During the execution of the command, several checks are also performed to rule out errors. We do this through electronic verification, combined with physical follow-up by our own employees.
